Henrik Hansen has a Master degree and a Ph.D. at the Technical University of Denmark. At the moment he is working as director of the career of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technical University Federico Santa Maria (UTFSM). He is specialist in environmental pollution, soil remediation, industrial waste water treatment (heavy metals), characterization of fly ash, thermodynamic processes.

Profile/Work area:

Ana Isabel is Environmental Engineer and has a M.Sc in "Management in Material's Flow and Energy" at the University of Trier - Germany, specialization area: energetic use of solid wastes. Since 1999 she works in the design and implementation of Environmental Projects in Colombia, Germany and Chile, with emphasis in Integral Solid Waste Management.  She made internships and courses, as scholarship holder of the Swedish, Swiss and German government, in these countries and in Costa Rica. At the present she is working as Project Director in the company GPR S.A., and as lecturer of the course "Solid Waste Treatment" in the UTFSM. She made the design and implementation of Programs of Integral Solid waste management, within the framework of Projects of Clean Production and Studies of Environmental Impact Assessment. In the last years, she has developed several studies to determine the environmental, technical and economic feasibility to construct and operate plants for the energetic use of solid wastes.
