The objective of this work package is to determine the current state of scientific research in the field of sustainable waste management. The WasteNet partners have the task to identify further actors on a national and international level that should be integrated, in order to determine the future research need. A selection of "Best-practice-projects" with focus on solutions for sustainable solid waste management will be made available.
